TWINKLE TOES

Had a full house this Christmas,
but when all left, Twinkie was the first visitor
for the new year!

Twinkie (her nickname) is an older Terrier
that's been coming here for years!!

I remember her thin and feisty but now
she's put on some weight (as we all do when we get older!)
Perfect to use for a little stool! :)

She's a great dog and has always been low maintenance.
However, I do remember she scared us to death once
because we couldn't find her (and we knew she was
in the house!) She was afraid of lightening!
I kept one of my kitchen doors off
so they could use the cabinet like a house.
Well she went in it and crawled
around to the other cabinets with doors.
Luckily I checked all the doors,
and there she was sitting behind the comet!!

Oh, what a relief with a burst of laughter
and of course a picture!

Also when she was younger she was
always in the bushes looking for critters,
but not so much anymore.

Her parents bring her crate, but she
hardly uses it for she likes to hang out with
the pack, relaxing on doggie beds or wherever.

One thing we didn't know about her -
she likes playing cards! :)

We love our Twinkie,
a perfect dog to start the New Year!
