DOGGIES of the MONTH!!

Well, these two come together, so it needs to be
doggies of the month!

They were here for about 10 days
in June, and we can easily say
they are regular guests here
at Home of Bed and Biscuit!

Layla, is a yellow Lab and Tyson, a black Lab.
When Layla first came she was a pup.
Oh, what a hand full!!
We had to drain our water fountain for
she would jump in it and splash all over!!
Same with our water bowls - couldn't leave them out!
She once took a water bowl in her mouth
and walked around the house with it,
splashing all over!
(even though it was a mess, we had to laugh!)

Now she's older, but still has puppy tendencies.
She likes to eat my tennis caps, reading glasses,
pens and pensils, if I forget to leave them around!
And of course it's hard to get mad at her,
because she is really a sweet girl who just loves to play!

When she's got something in her mouth that
she isn't supposed to have,
it's hard to catch her!
She thinks it's a game and loves to be chased.
Rich and I have to corner her!

She is a beauty! She looks like she has
eyeliner around her eyes!

Tyson, on the other hand is older so is a bit more controlled
however he is a counter surfer and has gotten my
A&D ointment from the bathroom twice!

But, he too, is a basically a good boy and
a very handsome one at that!

He's gained some weight,
so his dad likes him to come here
because of all the exercise he gets!
(Plus I feed him less),
so he'll return home, a bit slimmer.

These two Labs are a bundle of work,
but a bundle of joy as well!
